Christmas times

Hope you all had a lovely christmas guys! I spent my time relaxing with the family and eating way too much. Those of you who work in retail will know that christmas time can be just too manic, and you don't feel like you've had a chance to actually enjoy the holidays. So it was really nice just to chill and spend time doing nothing.

I recieved some lovely presents from family and friends, and feel so blessed. I cannot wait to go and spend the Topshop vouchers,I have had my eye on some bits for a while now so they will go to good use. I have also been lusting after the Lauren Conrad book for ages, she's such a babe and i'm already getting into it.

How did you spend your christmas, what were your favourite presents?

Mini haul: Primark & Monki

So I decided to my very last minute christmas shopping and look what happens. I just cannot resist getting distracted and shopping for myself! Does anyone else have this problem?

Jumper, Shirt and Purse all from Monki

Monki has gradually become one of my favourite shops, I always find some really cool bits in there. I have the red version of this shirt and couldn't resist getting the blue one. I picked this jumper up after seeing someone working in the store wearing it with a while collared shirt underneath. I cannot get enough of cosy knits at the moment,

bag, coat and bed set all Primark.
Necklace- Accessorize
Candle-Clintons

I went to the new Primark in Tottenham court road,Although it was busy, there space to shop and look around. As much as I love Primark, the Marble Arch store can often put me off as it's literally always manic. I loveee this coat, i've been looking for a grey one for ages. It fits slightly oversized (mine is a size 10) so I would suggest possibly trying on a size smaller. I had to get this bed set, it's so pretty and i've just recently got a double bed so need some new sheets. I.had to pick up a cheeky little Yankee candle too, it smells amazing!

Hope everyone isn't rushing around too much before christmas, it always seems to come around so quick!

The perfect party season piece: Louise Thompson for Goddiva

Bonjour! Sorry for the lack of posts recently, it get's so hard to post sometimes when you're working constantly and especially when it gets dark so early.

Aaanyyway a few weeks ago I attended my first pr event, the launch of Louise Thompsons line for Goddiva. I was so happy to be invited, and the evening definately didn't dissapoint. The event was located at The Mayfair Exchange, a lovely bar just off of Bond st. I met Jem and Lauren when waiting outside and they were such nice girls! On arrival we were greeted with champagne and yummy food as we began chatting away to other bloggers.

Many of you will know Louise for being in the show Made In Chelsea. I think she's got a really cool style, which shows through many of the pieces from the collection. It was nice to meet her in person, and hear a bit about how the collection came about. She admitted that although she didn't design the collection herself, she had a very strong influence in deciding the detailling of each piece, adding her personal style into them.

It was so lovely to meet other bloggers, they were all awesome girls and hopefully will be seeing them again. I met the gorgeous Arabella, I have read and loved her blog for ages, so it was nice to get to meet her in person. We all kindly got the oppertunity to try on and take home a piece from the collection, I chose this gorgeous beige dress (worn above). It's such a classic style which i'm sure I will wear again and again. I also have my eye on this glitter dress possibly for New years eve. You should definately take a look at the full collection, there really are some gorgeous party pieces perfect for a special occasion.

We also recieved these fabolous gift bags filled with lots of wonderful beauty bits.

Thanks Red Hot Pr and Goddiva for a lovely evening!

The white blouse

Blouse-H&M
Necklace-Forever 21

I recently picked up this blouse a few weeks ago from h&m. I love the dipped hem at the bottom, it's something a bit different and a steal for £14.99.  I have already worn it on a night out with leather trousers and i'm sure that I will be getting a lot of use out of it.
Today has been a typical lazy Sunday. I went out last night so have spent the day in my pyjamas catching up on the x factor. Wish I had the day off of work tommorow, don't you just hate monday mornings!

Currently loving: Statement necklaces

Hi guys, thought I would do a post on my current obession, a good old statement necklace. I am probably the most indecisive person ever (my friends who have to put up with this will tell you), so deciding on an outfit for a night out can be very stressful!

Recently, my staple outfit has been either a plain dress or top accompanied with one of my ever growing collection of chunky necklaces. I find it's a really simple way of making a casual outfit appear more going outey. An easy choice for those indecisive ones among us. The only decision being which necklace to wear?

    Primark
    Forever 21
    Forever 21
    Topshop
    Topshop
    Forever 21
    Forever 21

Forever 21 is my favourite place for jewellery at the moment, really reasonable priced too!
What are your current obsessionss clothing/jewellery wise?

New buys

Here are a few things purchased recently. A/W excitement has kicked in, I seem to use the 'new season new clothes' excuse to justify everything I buy. There are so many lovely winter pieces in the shops at the moment it's hard to resist!

Jewellery hanger-Next. I've need something like this for a while, it's perfect for hanging up my necklaces

Snood-Forever 21. I'm loving snoods at the moment. Perfect for keeping you warm an is easy to wear. I've got a burgundy one from H&M too which I love too

Star jumper-Primark. This was actually in the pyjama section but I think it would be quite cool for everday

Necklaces-Forever 21/Primark. I absolutely love the jewellery in Forever 21, such reasonable prices too.

Camo jacket. I got this from one of those cheap shops for £16! You can find some little gems in those sort of shops, and I think this was an absolute bargain considering how much one is in Topshop or Urban Outfitters!

Levi denim jacket, Brick Lane. After searching through ebay and giving up I was so happy when I saw a rail of these

Studded shoes-Topshop. I was umming and ahhing about the black ones for ages, but decided on these nude ones instead. Think they will look cool with a jeans or leggings with a plain top/jumper

Strawberry body mist, Body Shop. I absolutely LOVE this smell! If you're like me and have the whole of the Body Shop strawberry scented body products, this will be perfect for you. I was looking for it in my local store for weeks but they had sold out, so grabbed this one when I saw it at another store. Go get it :)

'Blue my mind' nail varnish-H&M. Saw this featured in Barbara's video, not something I would normally go for but I love it

Satchel bag- Primark. Thought this would make a change from my standard every day black bag. They had this in a tan colour aswell but thought the black looked a bit different. For £9 it's not bad at all!

Beanie hats-ebay. These are perfect for winter, definately go check out ebay sellers for these as I think mine cost around £2 each! What a bargain.

Striped long sleeve top- H&M. I cannot get enough of striped tops, perfect for everyday casual wear.

Studded chain zip clutch bag-New Look. I loveeee this! I really wanted the Topshop version but really didn't want to pay over £30 for it, so was tres happy when New Look came out with this beaut. Will be accompanying me on many nights out :)

Hope you guys are all well, hasn't it been cold recently! Winter is definitely on its way

London Fashion Weekend

Someday I hope to make it to fashion week, but recently my friend and I visited Somerset house for London Fashion Weekend. We went a few years ago when i've gotta admit this year was much better! The catwalk featured the new collection from Twnety Tweleve (set up by Sienna Miller and her sister) and there were some beautiful pieces!

My favourite pieces have got to be the pink peplum dress and the flower embroidered turban trousers and top set..so lovely

We then went to a talk with Tv presenter Zara Martin, stylist Jackie Dixon and Amber from Made in Chelsea (who I managed to get a cheeky snap with).

This is what I wore, I dont wear these trousers much so thought i'd get some wear out of them

Blazer-H&M
Trousers-Topshop
Jumper-H&M

Hope you're all having a good week, I apologise for lack of blogging conistency I will try to get better!
