Hey guys, hope you all had a lovely christmas! Mine was spent at home, in a minnie mouse onesie opening presents and stuffing my face. Lets just say I was in a food coma for most of the evening. (Yet still managed to make my way through several deserts). I think I will be using the 'it's ok to stuff my face as it's christmas' excuse for a little bit longer...don't we all?
I will also be doing a 'what I got for christmas' style post very soon, I love reading these sorts of posts and having a nose at peoples christmas goodies!
The little black dress is a wardrobe staple, particularly for the party season. Putting their spin on the LBD Freixenet have created a special little black bottle of bubbly, and I was set the challenge of styling up the bottle just like I would an LBD. Every girl needs a red lipstick in their life and Mac 'Lady Danger' is the perfect bright shade for adding a pop of colour to an outfit. Teamed with a timeless quilted Chanel bag, bold statement earrings and a simple sandal heel and you are good to go. Not forgetting a cosy coat to keep you snug during the winter nights!
What is this...a blog post? I really have lost my blogging mojo over the last few months, so this post is very much overdue. I cannot believe it's Christmas soon, I know people are always saying this but where on earth has this year gone! Before you know it we will be welcoming spring with open arms...how time flies eh! Ok so the lovely people at Persun asked if I wanted to choose another item from their website. I had been eyeing up various navy coats for a while so when I saw this on the Persun website I knew I had to have it. Boyfriend style, smart and boxy, this coat ticks all the boxes. It also comes in a few other colours too! The only thing I would suggest is sizing up one or two sizes. I m normally a size 10/12 and opted for the M and unfortunately it does come up on the smaller side, being particularly tight around the arms. Aside from that, this is a lovely coat and has become a staple in my winter wardrobe along with another recent addition, these boots from Peacocks which I picked up for just under £19!
Hey guys, here's a few beauty bits i've been lusting after recently and which also currently feature on my ever extending wishlist that I keep in the notes section of my phone. Does anyone else do this or is it just me haha. Apart from the Vichy cleanser none of these are necessities, just very lovely things that I want to get my mitts on...I blame my current addiction to YouTube beauty videos! Oooh and just to give you a heads up, Escentual currently have up to a 1/3 off French skincare including brands such as Vichy, Avene and la Roche Posay. I think tommorow is the last day of the offer so check out the website if you fancy a cheeky discount! I think I may have to pick up another pot of my winter lip saviour, the Nuxe Reve de Miel. Will definately be needing this over the cold winter months!
I've also added lots to my ebay which you can check out here.
Guess who's back! Oh my, it has been about 2 months since my last post can you believe. What with going away on holiday and just feeling a little uninspired by blogging, I decided to take a bit of a backseat and have a little break. I think it can be good to take a step back from time to time and regain your blogging mojo! I also plan on giving my blog a little revamp so watch out for that.
When I came back from Mexico last month my holiday blues were brushed aside when I saw this lovely blazer from Persunwaiting for me. Having been on the hunt for an oversized white blazer for years, I immediately knew this blazer for was for me, and it definately did not disappoint. I opted for a large knowing that asian sizing can often come up on the smaller side. (Persun is a similar brand to Sheinside, Romwe etc). It's a perfect fit for me, I am normally a uk 10-12 and this comes up slightly baggy which I how I wanted it. I would definately recommend looking at the measurements for each size to help get a more accurate fit. I can see this becoming a wardrobe staple, perfect for adding a bit more structure and put togetherness to an outfit. It's also pretty reasonably priced at around £25, and comes in a few other colours which you can check out here :)
I hope to be posting a LOT more often now, as being a good blogger is currently on the top of my to do list and is something which I love and have missed!
On a search for some statement pieces to jazz up my jewellery collection, I headed into Primark to see what they had to offer. Now I find that Primark can be pretty hit and miss when it comes to jewellery, but was pleasantly suprised when I came across these beauts. I'm in love with the turquoise stone necklace! it's pretty much me in a necklace and for £4 I couldn't resist. I have been wanting a pair of earrings similar to these for a while, I love the rustic vintage look and think they would look cool with a little black dress and heels. I'm still in two minds whether to keep the other necklace, should I keep or return?
Hope you guys have had a nice weekend! I'm off to make a nice cup of tea and catch up on some blogs :) x
How pretty are these shorts? I was recently asked by the lovely Corina at So In Fashion to pick an item from their website and chose these embroidered shorts. They would look so chic with a tan on holiday! The side detailing is so pretty and are a steal for £20, as I feel you could pick up something similar in somewhere like French Connection or Cos. I teamed mine with some biker boots to toughen them up a bit, but with a simple cami top and sandals you will be looking ready for summer.
If you're looking for some holiday pieces or some last minute additions to your summer wardrobe then I would definately recommend having a browse through the So In Fashion website! I have also got my eyes on this lovely kimono, which would be perfect for the beach.

Hey guys so I thought I would show you some things i've picked up in the sales recently. The humid weather has totally put me off of shopping, so I was pleasantly suprised when I found quite a few treats amongst the sale rails... Zara and Urban Outfitters in particular! I've been on the hunt for some potential holiday pieces that I could also wear in England during this hot weather and these Urban Outfitters dresses are lovely for everyday. I spotted the bikini when it was full price, but £28...really Urban Outfitters? I managed to pick it up for £18 in the sale which I was chuffed about. Another favourite purchase was the red Zara dress, which looks so much better on! It's simple but chic and cannot wait to pair it with my Shelikes sandals. Have you found any bargains in the sales recently?
Don't forget to enter my to win my Persunmall giveaway which ends at midnight! I've also updated my ebay this evening if you want to pick up a bargain :)
I mentioned in my last post that I had been asked to review an item from Persunmall. I was kindly sent this gorgeous Zara esque Skort, a perfect wardrobe summer staple. Paired with simple sandals and a plain tee, this on trend piece will take you through the hot months looking uber chic. The quality is lovely, and for £18.45 with free shipping you can't go wrong!
Unfortunately it is too small for me, so the lovely people over at Persunmall have allowed me to host a giveaway for one of you guys to win them! Please note that they are a size medium but come up very small, so I would say they are a uk small and would fit sizes 8-10.
All you have to do to enter below is follow 500 Days here on gfc, tweet about the giveaway and sign up to the Persunmall website. The giveaway will last for a week and the winner will be chosen at random through Rafflecopter. Good luck! Twitter/Instagram @sarahterrell91/Bloglovin/Lookbook x
I'm back! Technology has most definately not been on my side recently. With a broken phone, laptop and corrupt memory card, you can imagine blogging hasn't been the easiest of tasks.
I absolutely love this kimono, it's the perect throw on and ideal for the warmer weather as a little cover up, whether in the uk or on holiday. Speaking of holidays, me and my friend recently booked a trip to Mexico for the end of August...get me to the beach with a cocktail and a book!
These photos were taken a few weeks ago when the weather was a little less sweltering which is why i decided to team it with my favourite Topshop Joni jeans and the turquoise handchain to add to the boho vibe.
How lovely has the weather been! I'm ridiculously jealous of anyone who has been to Wireless festival this weekend, I mean Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake...oh my! x
With summer sales taking full swing on the high street, my evenings have been spent trying very hard to resist making a cheeky online purchase. Why do sales always start when you have no money?! So I have settled for making a little wishlist of things I would love to get my hands on...
I tried on the Topshop 'Mom' jeans the other day and absolutely loved the fit. I have the Joni pair and wear them all the time, however these ones are of a more casual loose fit which I love. Still high waisted so very flattering with shorter tops, especially as they're not too tight. Both of the make up items have been on my wishlist for a while and would be perfect for summer, especially the setting spray for those hot days where your make up lasts for about an hour. Although i'm not the biggest flatform fan, I think these sandal versions would look so nice on holiday and could definately be worn both dressy and casual. How gorgeous is that red dress! It's currently in the sale but unfortunately sold out....You can find similar ones here on Motel and River Island. Remember you can still enter my Motel code '500days' at the checkout to nab a 20% discount!
I was recently contacted by the team at ladies clothing website Persunmall to choose some pieces from their website to review. I've had my eye on this skort style piece since seeing it on a few blogs, so i'm really excited to be able to review this one for you. Keep your eyes peeled for an upcoming post. Just wanted to quickly remind you that as of tommorow, I appears that gfc is out, with Bloglovin being the main platform to follow blog.So if you haven't already then pretty please follow me here to carry on recieving your 500 days feed :)
Currently in the process of updating my room, I seem to be spending way too muc time browsing through Pinterest for inspiration. It's such a great website to get ideas and to share your own inspirations. Get pinning!
Ideally I would love my room to look like a combination of all of these photos: fairy lights; a vintage feel; shabby chic furniture; bold, heavily moroccan influenced fabrics and comfort. I also love the more minimalist look with the industrial look lighting and white bedding. Aah so many ideas.
Has anyone recently revamped their bedroom or posted a bedroom tour? If so leave me a link, I love reading posts on anything to do with interior design :)
