Body Shop haul

Today after work The Body Shop were doing a friends and family 50% off evening, and I couldn't resist a cheeky visit. I'm a sucker for any sort of promotions, especially half price! One of my favourite purchases was this eye shadow, such a gorgeous shimmery mermaid green colour. I'll try and do a few reviews soon once i've used the produtcs I'm intrigued to see how I get on with the tea tree oil stick as I cannot stand the smell of it, but have heard good things about it nonetheless!

On another note i'm loving The Weeknd at the moment...

Kimono

I got picked up this gorgeous kimono at the weekend from Matalan. I don't often shop in there, but whenever I do I am always pleasantly suprised! This was £22 which I think is pretty good considering it would probably be double that in Topshop. They had some lovely summer bits in there and I would definately reccomend taking a trip to your local store as i'm sure you'll find some right bargains in there. (Especially the bikinis!)

I'm currently nursing a horrible cold so have been unable to enjoy the weather, but isn't it lovely! Let's hope it lasts :)

L'Oreal Caresse lipstick review

A few weeks ago I popped into superdrug with the intention of finally purchasing one of the much hyped about Revlon lip butters, and instead came out with this...

L'Oreal Caresse lipstick in 501 Nude Ingenue- £7.99

L'Oreal had a 'buy one get one half price' offer on all their products, and being so easily swayed by
marketing I ended up buying this and the 'true match' colour foundation.

As I haven't tried the revlon lip butter, I cannot compare the two, but I'm really enjoying this l'Oreal lipstick. I suffer from quite dry lips, so the main thing that appeals to me is how moisturising it is. It's actually more nudey than brown and something which I'm using daily at the moment as a simple colour. It's more pigmented than it looks here, which is nice as I was worried it would be too sheer. Sometimes I apply my Topshop 'nevada' nude lipstick over the top if I want a bit more colour.

At £7.99 it's not cheap, but it's something that I've been looking for for a while so I didn't mind paying that much. I'm not sure whether i'll be purchasing it again, as I want to seee if there are any other similar products out there at a cheaper price, but it's definately worth a try!

Also want to say a big thank you as I reached 400 follower today :) I never thought I would reach that many so cheers guys! Hope you've all had a lovely weekend

This week I want....

Untitled #2

I've realised that apart from the H&M bikini and maxi dress, this wishlist isn't very summery whatsoever. Maybe it's the recent change of weather that has been making me want shoes that will actually keep my feet dry in the rain! The Docs would be perfect! A few beauty products have also been added in here, i've heard nothing but good things about the Liz Earle cleanser, Benefits 'the porefessional' and real techniques stippling brush. Time to get out the birthday money I think!

I hope you're all having a good week, just caught up on 90210...was a bit of an emotional one wasn't it!

Birthday afternoon tea at The Ritz

Hey guys! So it was my 21st on friday, and was treated to afternoon tea at The Ritz. It was a lovely experience, and the hotel itself is so beautful! I felt like I had walked in to a scene from Made in Chelsea when I saw a girl looking at earrings for £3500 :0 The perks of being rich I guess!

These photos were taken using my new Nikon SLR which I got as my main present. I haven't stopped using it, and I know i'll get lots of use out of it.

It was also my mums 50th yesterday, so we went for a meal at this lovely little french restuarant that she loves. All in all a lovely birthday weekend!
